PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical Therapy

You will find caring, skilled physical therapists with specialized training. Our physical therapists help patients to regain their strength and balance, prevent falls, increase range of motion, and decrease pain. Through therapeutic exercise programs, patients can increase their muscle function, coordination, endurance, and mobility.

What do Physical Therapists do?

Physical therapy treats the patient’s impairments. They try to improve the impairment itself by increasing mobility, alignment of bones or joins, or lessen pain. Primary goal is to get their patients back to motion with exercise, massages, or other techniques. We focus on preventing injury as to avoid surgery or long-term effects.

How Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy overlap?

  • Both educate people about the healing process
  • Both educate people on how to prevent and avoid injury
  • Both play very important roles and specialize in their areas of expertise
  • Both assist people with improving their ability to perform daily activities through training and education
